NEW HOPE CLINIC Van
New Hope Clinic is a volunteer driven non-profit organization offering medical, dental and pharmacy services to low-income uninsured adults in Brunswick County. With the receipt of a grant from the Landfall Foundation, the clinic is now able to expand its services through the purchase of a minivan used for health screenings.
The Airlie Gardens Foundation
Provides funding for well-attended annual art exhibit. This year’s exhibit “Buzzworthy” funds the purchase of fiberglass forms, clear coat and stone bases for painted sculptures that are scattered throughout the gardens.
Wilmington Symphony Orchestra Music for Youth Program
Serves over 2500 pre-K to college annually, music lessons and scholarships broadening reach of symphonic music to children and families.
Caridad, Inc.
In Spanish, Caridad means Charity and for this organization it means to meet short and longterm goals of single mothers by providing opportunities in education, job training, financial support, counseling, daycare, spiritual guidance, legas assistance & more.
Coastal Bringing Up Down Syndrome
Program provides healthy food preparations for 5+ age appropriate groups to foster a more independent life.
Child Development Center
The grant provides adaptive materials and art supplies to ensure high quality early education services to children of all abilities.
Wilmington Jewish Film Festival
The WJFF Holocaust School of Education promotes greater understanding of Jewish culture and the Holocaust. “Fanny’s Journey” was screened for all NHC and Pender 10th grade English classes in conjunction with WWII classroom learning.
PREVIOUS GRANT AWARDS
The Landfall Foundation sponsored Airlie Garden’s exhibit Hoppy Times with unique works of art in a spectacular garden setting. The painted rabbits were available for purchase through an online auction.
Safe Haven of Pender replaced the outdated and worn play area with a new play set for their “Empowerment in the Back Yard” project funded by the Landfall Foundation.
Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Club of Wilmington, awarded a Capital Grant of $20,000 by the Landfall Foundation for a bus to transport children.

Johnson Elementary pre-k provides early intervention for a resilient population. Each child receives a book to take home and keep.
Kids Making It (KMI) focuses on woodworking mentoring programs for at-risk youth. Their mission is to reduce juvenile delinquency and help all youth served stay in school, graduate, and transition successfully into college or the workplace as responsible adults.
Burgwin Wright House "People of the Past" program, a Colonial era living history program for every fourth grader in the New Hanover County School system to reinforce American history lessons.

GLOW Academy grant for innovative classroom equipment and furniture allows teachers to project information from computers, visuals from a microscope, and LIVE video from researchers across the country.
